The Orthodox Icons
are a symbol of Faith – not mere artifacts or decoration, but an object of
religious admiration. The Icons are a proof of our Faith and closeness to God,
help in our prayers for reaching the Original.
The presented icons
are completely in accordance with the religious canons of the Orthodox Church
and are also a direct heir of the zograph traditions, funded in the Byzantine
Empire. Bulgarian zographs connect the Byzantine icon painting with the
renaissance Christian interpretations of Universe and Man.
The presented icons are
unique with the fact, that they are painted from the hand of a zograph, who had
invested in them his Faith, Love and Admiration to the Original. They are NOT
copies. Each icon is traditionally painted with individual specific details and
is an unique object of Christian art. The icon is an religious and emotional
experience, and the zograph is not only a painter, but a man of Faith, who will
paint an icon only after purification through prayers and starvation.
Classical
traditional technology is used – natural wooden platform, credo ground, egg
tempera and lacer.
NO unnatural
materials are applied.

shown in the galleries.
Transportation and customs taxation is NOT included and will be paid by
customer.
We consider each
order a specific one and each price is formed individually.
Icons will be
painted after you agree with the price and after you make a money deposit – as
a guarantee that you will buy and pay the ordered icons.
All icon images,
presented here, are samples.
You can order some
of them, or you can order icons painted after your wish – for example using a
photo, stated sizes and other requirements. The zograph will paint your icons
in accordance to your wish and the Christian canon.
The process step-by-step:
1.
Agreement by e-mail on a specific icon(s) after
shown sample or photography send by you, including size, painting technique,
term of time, total price (including delivery, customs taxes and duties, etc.),
and delivery.
2.
You deposit 50% of total price on our bank
account.
3.
Wait for painting and delivery (1-2 weeks).
4.
You receive the icon(s) by mail or courier and
pay the rest 50% upon delivery.
For regular orders (for example for galleries, shops, etc.) we can
negotiate special conditions.
